Loosie’s Nightclub plays host to the 2025 Soirée; raising crucial funds to benefit the Coalition for the Homeless

On a warm spring evening in May, over 80 of New York’s business professionals, socialites and philanthropists came together for a fun night of networking, cocktails, and giving back. The 3rd annual Soirée, hosted by the Coalition for the Homeless Junior Board, welcomed guests into Loosie’s Nightclub, and throughout the night raised $40,000 to support the Coalition’s programs serving New York’s most vulnerable populations.

A highlight of the evening was the co-emcees for the evening, media personality Taryn Delanie Smith and broadway star Marilyn Monhoe. Together, with their exuberant and endearing crowd work, they got guests laughing, dancing and giving.

Coalition for the Homeless Executive Director, Dave Giffen also thanked guests and shared just how great their impact really is.

“I hope you know that by coming here tonight you are actually making a difference. You are putting people into homes. You are putting food in people’s stomachs. You are helping people to find jobs. You’re helping give homeless kids a future.”

Special thanks go to our generous sponsor, Cravath, Swaine & Moore, as well as our in-kind sponsors, Sake Ono for the delightful cocktails, and Anne Fontaine and Away Luggage for their door prize donations.

We are sincerely grateful to the Coalition’s Junior Board for making this such a special night. Three years in and the Soirée is fast becoming an unmissable event, thanks to their wonderful partnership.
